It may seem like a bit of a pain, but I do appreciate the investment that Fred Meyer is making to prevent the spread of Coronvirus in their stores.

According to Idaho Statesman, Fred Meyer is using infrared technology to identify and limit the number of customers that are in their stores at any given time. They will now limit the number of customer in their store to one every 120 square feet, which turns out to be about half of the number allowed by the international building code.

The positive outcome of this is, hopefully, a smaller chance of the Coronavirus continuing to spread. The negative part of this is there may be more lines outside the store that people will have to wait in before they can go in and make their purchases.

Either way, we're grateful that Fred Meyer is open during this challenging time and that they're taking steps to keep us healthy!
