Fourth Annual Scentsy Rock-a-Thon and Fireworks Show Today in Meridian
Scentsy is holding their annual Rock-a-Thon to benefit the Salvation Army and a new Booth Marian Pritchett School, a special school organized by the Salvation Army for teenage parents that teaches a regular high school curriculum as well as courses on parenting.
Last year, my family rocked and waved as people honked in support of the event. It's a great event in our community and the kids enjoy it too!
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, people will be rocking back in forth in rocking chairs along the Scentsy campus in Meridian. Scentsy will donate $250 per chair, per hour, for 12 hours as long as the chairs are rocking! So, go get your butt in a seat if you can to help a great cause. Even if it's during your lunch break. Bring a lunch and rock while you eat!
Wear red to support the cause and stick around or come back to enjoy the amazing fireworks show at 8:45 p.m.! Parking will be available starting at 8:00 p.m.
The goal and hope is to raise $250,000 today. With your help, it can be done!
