PICABO STREET

Picabo was born at home in Triumph, Idaho.  Her mom was a music teacher and dad a stonemason.  Her parents decided to let her choose her own name when she was old enough, so before she was Picabo, they called her Baby Girl.

1998 U.S. Olympic skier who was a gold medalist in the Super G event and also won a silver in the Downhill event in 1994.

She first skied for the local Hailey (Idaho) Ski Team.

She was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2004.

AARON PAUL

Born and raised in Emmett, Idaho.  His mother, Darla works as one of the top Sales Representatives for WOW Country 104.3.

He's Jesse Pinkman on the highly succesfull television drama, Breaking Bad.  He's won two Prime Time Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Prior to his acting career he made an appearance on The Price Is Right in 2000.

He made his film debut as Floyd in the 2000 movie, Whatever It Takes.

SARAH PALIN

Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, the third of four children.

Former governor of Alaska, reality star, and Republican candidate for the U.S. Vice Presidency in 2008.  Her book Going Rogue was published in 2009 and was a New York Times #1 bestseller for six weeks.

She won the Alaska State Championship as the captain of her basketball team.

Her daughter, Bristol Palin, sparked controversy during her 2008 Vice Presidential Candidacy run, for her teenage pregnancy.

JAKE PLUMMER

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho Plummer attended Pierce Park Elementary and graduated from Capitol High School in 1993.

Jason Steven (Jake) Plummer played football in the NFL for ten seasons.  He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 1997.  After six years with the Cardinals he played four more with the Denver Broncos.

His nickname is Jake The Snake

Plummer joined the PAC 12 Network in 2013 as a studio analyst for college football.

NAPOLEON DYNAMITE

Ok, ok, ok... I know Napoleon's not real.  But he put our great state of Idaho in the spotlight and in a fictitious kind of way, he has to be one of the most famous people from Idaho.

Actor, Jon Heder was paid only $1,000 for his role of Napoleon Dynamite.  After the film's runaway success, Heder renegotiated his compensation and received a cut of the profits.
