Eagle Dog Park Getting Set For Grand Opening
Incredible new for dog lovers in Eagle and around the Treasure Valley as a new dog park is opening and they're having a grand opening event complete with awesome freebies!
KTVB originally reported back in January that after years of asking, Eagle residents would finally get a dog park at 3151 E. Greenbrook, Eagle, ID 83616, on the corner of Floating Feather Road and Horseshoe Bend Road, which will include both small and large dog enclosures. PetIQ is donating the dog park to the city of Eagle and is inviting locals to come out on Thursday, July 1st at 10:30 am for a grand opening ceremony, where the Mayor of Eagle will be speaking and they'll be giving away free swag bags!
PetIQ will also be having a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for their own new Treasure Vally facility on the same day at 2:00 at their headquarters on 230 E. Riverside Drive in Eagle. This is incredible news for both Eagle residents and other Treasure Valley dog owners as we all know how busy our local dog parks can get, and now we have yet another option up North in Eagle. Fido, Spot, Max or whatever you call your dog (T-Rex, in my case) will be happy to frolic and play at their brand new, beautiful dog park. To me, dog parks represent a special kind of freedom for dogs where they can get out and explore without a leash, while still staying safe and nearby their person. So get out and enjoy!
