Cops Give Gifts Instead Of Tickets

OMG!  This is so cool.  Police in Lowell, Michigan recently pulled drivers over to not give them tickets but to give them something else.

I think we can all agree, getting pulled over by a cop is very stressful, even if you haven't done anything wrong.  But these police officers pulled over drivers to give them Christmas presents.  Not just any gifts, but gifts that they or thier kids really wanted.

A cop with a hidden camera would casually ask what they wanted for Christmas.  Then guys at a nearby store would buy it, and bring it to them.  (They pulled over about 50 drivers in two days, and handed out 30 gifts.  Those gifts included a laptop and an Xbox 360 and more.  Some of the gifts would never have made it to some of the households, because they would never have been able to afford to buy them for their kids.

I for one would love to get pulled over by a cop to get a gift like this.  But I would still be a little stressed, but I think I would get over it.
