The Caldwell Police Department is currently looking for applicants as they are trying to establish a roster for the position of police officer. If you know of anyone looking for a career in law enforcement this would be a tremendous opportunity.

Currently there are 71 officers serving a population of close to 55,000 people. Patrol officers work 12-hour shifts with 4 days on/4 days off.

You must possess great interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with co-workers and the public. All applicants have to successfully complete the Basic POST Certification, be over the age of 21, and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Applicants will need to pass a written test, physical fitness test, polygraph, psychological exam, and a detailed background check.

The written and physical tests will be at 9:00 a.m. on October 9, 2019 at the Caldwell Police Department. Check-in will be at 8:15 a.m. Workout attire is appropriate when taking both tests.
