Boise Third Graders Given Dictionaries By Rotary Members
It's the gift that keeps on giving? It is for Third-graders at Whitney Elementary School in Boise as they have been given dictionaries courtesy of the Boise Rotary Club.
This has become an annual project for Rotary members, and the distribution team included Miss Idaho 2017. They handed out more than 80 personalized dictionaries, each with the students' names, and extras to be shared by teachers and available in the library too.
Rotary Members delivered and gave students training on how to use the resources. The impact isn't just in the Treasure Valley either, as the organization has teamed with the Dictionary Project around the world.
