Can we talk about the Boise State Men's basketball team for a minute? They've had an incredible, history-making season so far and deserve all the recognition! The Broncos have only lost one game this season and are currently 7-0 in conference play.

The Bronco's only lost came on November 27th against the #17 ranked University of Houston. Since then though the team has been rewriting the record books. The Broncos are sitting on an 11 game win streak which is the team's longest winning streak in school history. Their undefeated conference record also ties the program's best conference play start since the 1987-1988 season.

Fans have noticed that this team is built different than year's past. Rather than there being 1-2 standout players, the 2020-2021 Bronco's MBB team has some serious depth to their roster with multiple contributors. It's not just the community that's taken notice of Boise State's talent this season; college basketball reporters and analysts across the country have too. Matt Norlander from CBSSports.com said, “I had two Mountain West coaches tell me in the past two weeks that Boise State has the most talent of
any team in that league, so keep an eye out for Leon Rice’s team as it chases its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015.”

If only we could be packing the ExtraMile arena and cheering this team on in-person! Regardless, they have our support. Boise State will wrap up it's two game series on the road against Wyoming on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. MT and you can catch the game on CBS Sports Network.
