Bogus Basin Officially Open for the Summer

Skiing, snowboarding, and snow activities are top notch during the Winter months at Bogus Basin but now you can find a whole different kind of fun at the resort.  Bogus Basin had a multi-million dollar facelift recently bringing a brand new look for the summer activities.

Now you can take a ride on the mountain coaster, try the rock climbing tower, trampolines or have fun cruising the summer tubes.  The ski lift is up and running, giving round trips for views and easy access to hiking trails.

According to KTVB, the months of work and millions of dollars spent have all been geared towards being able to use the mountain on a year-round basis.  General Manager Brad Wilson says...

As a nonprofit, our mission is to be affordable and accessible and to provide mountain recreation and education.  It fits our bill perfectly to offer activities and be open in the summer so people could use these facilities year-round now."

Bogus Basin is currently open Friday through Sunday but within a couple of weeks will be open seven days a week.  Check out more details HERE.
