Beware of TOXIC Halloween Makeup as You Dress Up This Year

There’s a warning out about makeup and face-paint you or your child might wear this Halloween.

There’s an environmental group that ran tests showing heavy metals.

A recent study done by the Breast Cancer Fund analyzed different Halloween makeup kits marketed to kids from across the country.

Of the nearly 48 makeup palettes it tested, the group found at least one toxic heavy metal in nearly half of them. In nine, it found lead!

The study found, the darker the pigment, the higher the level of lead. So if you're costume depends on black face paint, be careful.

The makeup, even if it's for kids, does not have to be tested.
