All Expo Idaho Events Canceled Through April

Expo Idaho will be pretty bare through the end of April. All events have been canceled. 

In addition

• all non-essential work travel by Ada County personnel is suspended.
• Parks & Waterways will take no new bookings for the Barber Park Education and Event Center between now and May 31st.

According to an article on idahonews.com, the new protocols come because of advice from public health officials who say we should suspend unnecessary travel and mass gatherings to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

If you haven't heard, Expo Idaho is far from the only venue closing.

• Disneyland has officially closed
• The LDS church has shut down all meetings and no one will be attending general conference this April.
• The NBA has suspended their season.
• No one will be attending NCAA March Madness.

This is just the brink of it, and this is the first time that I've started to panic over this whole Coronavirus ordeal.

Are you freaking out?! I still need to go to the grocery store and stock up. Pretty scary stuff.
