The Class of 2020 isn't getting the traditional graduation ceremony, but many efforts have been put into making sure these teens aren't forgotten. Here's a local program that makes a really personal connection with graduating Seniors in Ada and Canyon Counties.

The Adopt a High School Senior- Canyon and Ada County' Facebook page has garnered over 1600 followers in just a couple weeks.

According to an article on KTVB, the concept is parents can post a picture and little synopsis on their Senior and then someone can "adopt" that senior and do special things for them to honor their graduation like leave them a letter, decorate their front porch, or drop of a small gift or some of their favorite treats!

I love seeing how this community is banning together during this crazy time and this is just another example of that. I know the class of 2020 is not getting the graduation they always imagined, but they sure are getting some extra special attention that is pretty cool.
