CAMPAIGNING to find kind

Cofounded by Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson, the Kind Campaign challenges school-age girls "to put an end to the hate and find kind" in classrooms across the nation. But addressing predatory advances and behaviors, a.k.a. "girl crime," on the national stage is no small feat.

To pull it off, Paul and Thompson embedded themselves in the trenches of girl-on-girl warfare in their cross-country documentary, Finding Kind.

THE plot

The recipient of more than a dozen awards, Finding Kind champions self-acceptance while confronting "mean girl" culture head-on. Having lived through the trauma and shame of childhood bullying, Paul and Thompson have been relentless in their effort to share the documentary with thousands of schools and youth venues around the world.

Two girls packed their bags and traveled across America in a mini-van with their mothers to interview hundreds of females about the mean girl phenomenon. As Lauren and Molly combine their experiences and passion to uncover the truth within Girl World, the girls learn about themselves, females, the truth behind the issue and our culture's influence.
