250,000 Idahoans have now received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Texas has completely reopened, are we next?

Pretty impressive numbers considering Idaho has been among the slowest to roll out the Covid-19 vaccine, but it does make me hopeful that by summer, we'll start to experience a bit of "normal" life again. It seems like we've been in a purgatory for some time. Personally, I'm going to continue wearing a mask and social distancing until I'm vaccinated and the mandates go away, it doesn't bother me.

What I'm most excited about, is the ability to travel, go see concerts and experience life a little bit. It seems as though these things will be allowed to happen somewhat soon at the rate we're going which is very uplifting, and the fact that we're approaching getting back to "normal" as the weather begins to warm up is just icing on the cake.

Now, I think a lot of things will be held off until next year; massive world tours for musicians and things like that, my guess is they'd like to plan these events when they know they'll safely be in the clear. With all the surprises we've experienced in the last year, you wouldn't want to plan a whole tour (again in some cases) just to have to cancel it down the road.

But here in the Treasure Valley, I'm imagining a very "normal" summer, with the Boise river hopefully opening on time, the water parks and all the fun this community has to offer.
