7 Car Pile-UP Involving a Bus and Fuel Tanker Shuts Down HWY 20
The weather has pretty much passed in the Treasure Valley, but be aware of this if you are headed east. There's a pretty nasty wreck shutting down Hwy 20.
Two accidents, one involving three vehicles and the other involving four vehicles including a bus and fuel tanker have shut down the highway. Traffic is being diverted at the US 20/26 junction according to an article on eastidahonews.com.
Hazmat is on the scene neat the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls and so far there are only reports of one person having minor injuries.
Please be careful on the roads. Although they are much better, ice and snow are still out there in parts. Talking to our engineer this morning, he said he had the scariest drive of his life coming up from Twin Falls last night.
Continue to use extra caution. We've had a very mild winter until this past storm and I hate to see anyone lose their life.
We'll try to keep you update as this wreck is cleaned up and the roads are re-opened.
