So, when you factor in rent, the average cost of living in Boise is $60,613.20. A lot of families have two incomes but there are still plenty of families out there that are operating on a single income.

As we near the start of the new year, one of the most popular new year's resolutions is "personal improvement" as well as resolutions relating to career and money. Statista.com reports that 21% of people's new year resolutions involve "personal improvement", 16% have resolutions relating to "career or job goals", and 13% of people focus their new year's resolutions on "financial goals."

One could argue that all three of those categories are the same if not tied into one another. Money might not buy happiness, but it sure does help keep the stress away!
