2 Dogs Die and Man Injured in Boise House Fire

A tragic ending to a house fire in Boise has left man's best friend dead times two. 

As I was playing with my little dog Snuggles this morning, this story hit me hard. My heart is with this Boise man who has lost his two dogs and is recovering himself.

The fire broke out just after noon yesterday along N. Troutner Way.

An official cause of the fire has not been released, but according to an article on KTVB the house was allegedly struck by lightning.

The man involved is being treated for smoke inhalation. An update on his condition has not been released yet this morning. A woman was also treated, but her injuries have not been specified.
