17-Year-Old From Star Dies in Nampa Crash

A Treasure Valley family has suffered a sudden heartbreaking loss just before the holidays. 

17-year-old Conner Ferguson of Star was driving his Chevy pickup when for reasons unknown, he went off-road and crashed into a canal.

The fatal accident happened near Ridgevue High School in Nampa. Conner's parents first became worried when their son did not return home and according to an article on KTVB that details the accident, they reported him overdue to Ada County dispatch just after midnight on Tuesday. After a search, Conner and his truck were found at about 4 a.m. thanks to a ping from his cell phone.
