12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive: Day 7 Recap
Well we've reached the half way point and things seemed to have slowed down a bit. I'm hoping it's just because it's the middle of the week but I DO have an update for you.
Like I said, it's been a pretty slow Wednesday here at the 12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive, but we have had quite a few people stop by with toys. Currently, our Giltner 53 foot trailer is an (estimated) 3/4 of the way full which we're happy with. If we could fill this truck, close it and move on to the next, it would be a big win for Toy Drive. If we could FILL a seconnd, that would be INSANE! But let's keep our eye on the prize.
In terms of bikes, we're still at 42. Like I said, it's been a pretty slow day. That said, our goal of 50 bikes is just eight away so I think we can pull it off between now and Monday at 10 am.
Now for the cash and gift cards, we're up to $4,305. That's just $695 away from our goal of $5,000. This is HUGE! If we could hit the $5,000 mark, we could help a lot of families here in the Treasure Valley. But here's the deal: even if we smash all these goals, we're going to keep going until Monday (12/14) at 10 am whether it snows, rains, dips below zero (it won't). We'll be here regardless. We want to try and help as many families here in the Treasure Valley as we can and we appreciate everything you've done and all that's still to come! -Moug
