What Time Should People Stop Trick-or-Treating?
This has been a hot topic around the radio station over the past few days. What time should people stop trick-or-treating? This year Halloween falls on a Wednesday, which means most people will have to get up the next morning and go to work. There is no set time that is acceptable to go from house to house for candy, but I would love to hear from you on what you think is acceptable.
When the topic of discussion first popped up I decided to Google the question and found out the following, most people think it is best for the trick-or-treating hours to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Halloween (October 31st) night. Although there was still a group of people that think it's okay to stay out until 11 p.m.
Remember when you're ready to call it quits for the night, you can always turn out your porch light letting visitors know that you're done handing out candy for the night. I also wonder if I should grab a bag of candy for this weekend just in case I have any early trick-or-treaters. I probably won't and will just end up eating another bag of fun-sized candy bars.
