What is the Point of a Mini Pineapple

I found these mini pineapples at the store here in town and wondered what in the world was the point.

I can imagine they would be maybe sweeter or even more tart due to the size? I love pineapple and would be up for trying one of these but what is the point? I found out they call them dwarf pineapples, and they are most definitely edible. Or some people may know them simply as baby pineapples. The main differences between the big and small is the mini ones half a soft center which is edible too. They are prices about the size of a regular one but juicer and sweeter at times.

After researching I found out that many tropical weddings with use these mini pineapples for decoration. They are easy to grow if you live in a tropical climate so you can have fresh pineapple anytime.
