Western Idaho Fair Offering Free Family Admission By Doing This
It's a fair season and we can't wait. The pandemic shutdown of all events including the Western Idaho Fair last Summer.
This year is different as the fair's motto is, "Let's party like it's 2019." Idaho was shut down during the pandemic in 2020, but not this year. The doors are open and we found a way for free entry.
The Western Idaho Fair Offers Free Admission
One of the best things about the fair is that you don't pay more for the special concerts. Nelly will be performing on Tuesday, August 24. The price of the ticket is free. You pay for the admission and it won't cost you any more to see the shows.
CBS2 is hosting a special day where you receive free admission for bringing a few cans of food. I remember those days growing up and upsetting mom for taking all the cans to school. The Idaho Food Bank does a phenomenal job raising food and this is just another example.
Just bring two cans on Friday, August 20 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. That's all. Those two cans will go to the Idaho Food Bank and will also give you free admission. There is no catch and you can also bring in sealed bottled water for that day. That is saving you $10 before ever walking in.
This is the opening day of the Western Idaho Fair and you score free with some non-perishable items. Everything else looks to be going as planned even as we hear rumblings about the new variants of COVID-19. Currently, there is no mask requirement at the Western Idaho Fair.
