2. The National Wild and Scenic Rivers System reported the Gem State possesses over 170,000 miles of waterway that could span the width of the United States 38 times.
3. According to Thrillist, we swear like sailors on-leave. We're the eighth most foul-spoken municipality in America!
4. There's a reason they call Idaho the "Gem State." Actually, there are more than 70 shining reasons for the nickname. And zircon, opal, jasper, and jade happen to be four of those 70 gorgeous reasons.
