If you end up hitting someone with your car, the last person you want it to be is a police officer, let alone two! Luckily, it looks like these officers are going to be okay.

The crash happened early this morning in Pocatello at about 4:30 a.m. The driver allegedly ran a red light before he crashed into the police cruiser.

40-year-old Bryan Hudson of Pocatello was headed northbound on Main Street when he ran a red light in his Toyota Corolla.

According to eastidahonews.com Officer Nicollette Pitcher and her passenger, training officer, Jared Bowman was in the police car when Hudson hit them. Luckily, the pair did not receive life-threatening injuries. Bowman was transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. Both Pitcher and Bowman along with Hudson were all wearing seatbelts.

Hudson is not off the hook though. He has been charged with failure to obey a traffic control device and he had an outstanding felony warrant.

We're just grateful that everyone is going to recover and be a-okay!
