The Idaho Runway for Bruce Willis is on Hold
Bruce Willis has plans to build a runway to land his private plane outside of Fairfield, and that process hit a snag this week.
Neighbors have been worried about noise, and others have raised concerns about the impact that the landing planes could have on wildlife. But those aren't the reasons that the project is on hold right now. The land that's supposed to be used for the air strip is zoned for agricultural use, and this runway project doesn't have anything to do with corn or wheat.
The Camas County Planning and Zoning Commission might rewrite the zoning ordinance to make room for the air strip, and they'll have a public hearing to talk about it next Tuesday, Oct. 4 in Fairfield.
