The Ice Sculptures McCall Winter Carnival [Photos]

Every year hundreds of people travel up to McCall and surrounding areas for Winter Carnival. This was my first time checking out the area and we chose a festive week for it.

The town is a little winter wonderland and the recreation for winter and summer is plenty. We stayed at Tamarack but just a short drive and we are in McCall. It's a "celebration of all things winter", with ice sculptors, sledding, skiing, snowman building and much more. The original carnival started back in the 1960's. The sculptor's really are the highlight of the carnival. It's amazing the detail and how these creations come together.
