Taylor Swift Pays For Idaho Couple’s Nampa Wedding Venue

When you really want something, you'll do pretty much anything you can to get it. That was definitely true for Emily Cloud, who really wanted to see Taylor Swift. For many people, seeing Taylor Swift's Eras Tour would be impossible. These were the most highly sought-after concert tickets in decades. But Emily had something that most people don't: a wedding venue. She and her husband own the Vintage Rose, just outside of Nampa.

Emily posted a video on TikTok that said she'd be willing to trade the use of her venue for tickets to the concert. The video went viral and found its way to a woman whose daughter was in a long-term relationship with the man she believed she would marry.

She sent the video to her daughter, Jennifer Bowerman. While she and her man weren't engaged, they were headed in that direction. A few months later, when her boyfriend Mike finally popped the question in McCall, she knew exactly where to have their wedding.

Jennifer and Mike, who happened to have six tickets to the Taylor Swift Eras concert in Seattle, reached out to Emily at the Vintage Rose to see if her offer was still on the table. She was able to trade three of her tickets to Emily for use of the venue.

Jennifer and Emily sat next to each other at Lumen Field in July, and Emily kept her end of the deal. Emily got to see the concert of her dreams, and Jennifer married the man of her dreams at the Vintage Rose on October 8th.

It turned out to be quite a deal on what is typically one of the most expensive parts of a wedding. Considering the tickets cost them about $300 each, they got the $4500 venue for $900!

The story is getting national attention, with an article being written for People Magazine in addition to local news outlets in the Treasure Valley.
