Take the Plunge at 16th Annual Great Polar Bear Challenge
We are often asked, "How much money would take to make you do _____?"
Rarely are we VOLUNTEERING for discomfort!
Registration is now open for The 16th Annual Great Polar Bear Challenge. The Great Polar Bear Challenge is an annual event benefiting the Make-A-Wish Idaho held at Lucky Peak Reservoir and Spring Shores Marina.
Each year for the past fifteen years, hundreds of people gather to brave the chilling weather year after year to raise funds to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Day of registration starts at 10 a.m. with the plunge happening at 11 a.m. You can register now on their website.
The events website states that they are expecting 250 or more participants with upwards of a thousand spectators. We're going to be on-hand and we are going to be sure it's WAY more people than that!
This year there will also be a costume contest and prizes for top fundraisers.
Kick-off the New Year by helping raise funds to grant the most heartfelt wish of every eligible Idaho child.
