Parents may mean well by passing the sign-up sheet around the office and posting about their child's cookie sales on social media, but there's one big reason why Girl Scout Cookies should be sold by the girls and not the parents.

Girl Scout Cookie season is here and there is a new cookie for 2019, will you try it?

Girl Scouts have a new cookie flavor coming in 2019 that will feed our cookie addiction in a whole new way. Thin Mints are usually #1 in popularity, but a curious new addition will be sweet, salty, and chewy, and probably just as irresistible as the others. Start practicing your willpower now.

I know, usually we reserve "The most wonderful time of the year" for seasonal music, but when I come with four boxes of heaven, it seems appropriate.  Girl Scout Cookies are back!

Girl Scouts will be selling cookies soon at Treasure Valley grocery stores, and online. The Silver Sage council is on the list of Girl Scouts offering online sales this year, which makes it way too easy to over-indulge, but oh well!  It only happens once a year.

Pillsbury just made the smartest partnership ever with Girl Scouts of America. If you're a fan of Thin Mints (Yes please!) or Samoas, you're in luck! The time in between Girl Scout cookie season is usually when you want them most, right...

Oh, how I love the Thin Mints! But I've noticed something about Girl Scout cookie sales around the Treasure Valley, and maybe you have too.  Are the moms of Scouts doing all the work?

Girls Scouts in Boise are part of a regional group called Girl Scouts of Silver Sage, and they're keeping us up to date on the cookie arrival. Tagalongs are my favorite!  I'm one of the oddballs that doesn't pick Thin Mints over everything else.  Unless of course you put them in the freezer.  Frozen Thin Mints are right up there with Nutella in terms of the best snacks ever!
