UPDATE 7:04am: Police say the suspect fired shots at police and the car has been found. Every entrance to subdivisions in the area has been blocked still searching for the suspect. Cars leaving those neighborhoods are being stopped and searched by officers carrying rifles...

Fortunately, the potential second round of snowmageddon didn't happen to the degree originally expected.  We do still have a handful of closures for today (Wednesday) though.

ITT Technical Institute is shutting down and students are not only surprised, but all their hard work over the years is now in question. The doors of the campus here in Boise are locked and the lights have been shut off. Students thought there would be a warning or heads up at least...

Starting today, a section of the Boise Greenbelt will be closed for widening and improvements to make it safer and enjoyable for everyone. The area covers one mile of Greenbelt pathway between Warm Springs golf course and Starview Drive in east Boise...

What day off, right?!  Not everyone is spending the holiday around the barbecue pit or at the mall, and it's business as usual.  But there are a bunch of offices that are closed today, and here are a few of them.

Ace Hardware, Neiman Marcus, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1, and Nordstrom are awesome!
