Boise Greenbelt

I love that our city is growing so much. A new portion of the Greenbelt that has been under construction for the past few months will be open to the public this afternoon.

With over 25 miles that stretch across our amazing city, sometimes it can be so easy to take for granted what many cities do not have. We are the lucky ones that get to call The Greenbelt a Boise Tradition.

With the weather soon to change from cooler temperatures to warmer ones, the City will see a boom in outdoor activities. One of the most popular ones in the Treasure Valley is bringing out the old bike and riding it around town.

If you are planning to spend any time outside this week in the 60 degree weather, one I'm jealous and two if those plans take you along the Greenbelt down by Municipal Park expect a few delays. Happy Earth Day! An easy way to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Earth Day is to get out and take a stroll on the Boise Greenbelt. And thanks to Boise Parks and Rec, the greenbelt is even better!
