Search Underway For Missing Idaho Hunter and Dog

With freezing temperatures last night, it's a terrible time to go missing, but crews are searching for a 60-year-old hunter named Andy Dennis. 

According to an article on KTVB, Andy was due back on Sunday and Baker County Search and Rescue started searching for him yesterday afternoon in the East Eagle Creek area and Eagle Cap Wilderness near Crater Lake.

The most disturbing piece of information is that Dennis' vehicle was found at the East Eagle Trailhead but, he was not inside.

Andy Dennis is described as

• 5'5"
• 170 lbs.
• brown hair
• blue eyes
• beard and mustache
• wearing a camouflage hat and tan coat
• He had a small Jack Russell terrier with him

Untrained searchers are asked to please stay out of the area because of the rugged steep terrain.
