It was tremendous news finding out that for the third year in a row here in Boise we will be hosting an X Games qualifier at Rhodes Park (1555 W. Front Street, under the connector).

Boise Weekly laid out the details of the event including 21 athletes being invited so far to take place in three events during the two day event taking place on Friday and Saturday, June 28th and 29th.

There will be local competitors as well as athletes from as far away as Japan. While the event will last two days there are some specific events getting extra attention. June 28th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. is the BMX Park Elimination, 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. is the Women's Skateboard Park Elimination, and Men's Skateboard Park Elimination from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All final rounds will be on June 29th, BMX Park Final will be first, then Women's Skateboard Park Final, and lastly Men's Skateboard Park Final. The finals will run from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

You can check out the qualifiers for free, or buy some tickets for bleacher seating coming in the next few weeks.
