If you’re planning to drive in the neighborhood of Boise’s Rhodes Skate Park this week, keep in mind that one of Boise’s biggest two-day events will be happening there.

ESPN is putting on an X Games qualifier at Rhodes Park, which is quickly becoming known in the skateboarding community as one of the top skate parks in the world.

Events start Friday, but road closures around the park went into effect at 6 a.m. this morning.

Roads will be closed:

▪  15th Street from River Street to Grove Street. Westbound traffic can continue on River Street to Americana Boulevard.

▪  16th Street from Front Street to River Street. Southbound traffic on 16th Street can turn right on Front Street.

This is such a huge opportunity for Boise and will bring in new visitors and revenue!
