The season of giving is necessary now more than ever. Food insecurity is more prevalent this year as 2020 has been relentless in causing financial struggle for so many of the good folks here in the Treasure Valley. But true to this community's reputation, you will always find someone stepping up to help however they can.

Boise's River City Church is answering the call to feed families in need this holiday season. At 9am every Wednesday this month starting December 9th, volunteers will be ready at River City Church on North View to load you up with a box of food. All you need to do is swing through the church parking lot. No paperwork to fill out and nothing to sign. Easy peasy.

So if you are in need or you know someone who is, mark your calendar and set your reminders:
December 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
9:00am
River City Church
7540 W. Northview Street
Boise, ID 83704

The stress and worry of figuring out how to put food on the table is something no family should have to go through. Be sure and spread the word to make sure as many families as possible can be served this holiday season. If you need any additional information, don't hesitate to contact Pastor Wayne Crownover at (208) 860-2524. He can answer all of your questions.

Mr. Roger's famously said, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." 2020 has been a scary year, but here in the Treasure Valley you will find no shortage of helpers.
