Restaurant in Star Closes Doors For Good

It's never good to hear about a local business that has to shut their doors, especially a restaurant with delicious food. Unfortunately, that has become a reality with The Durty Dawg in Star.

The fun restaurant offered gourmet eats and spirits located at 9846 West State Street in Star, often had local musicians playing while their customers enjoyed their unique dawgs.

Their staff was friendly and they always seemed to have drink or beer specials going on most of the time they were open.

To me, this is a reminder to visit smaller local restaurants as much as possible. You never want to hear of a restaurant closing but it's even worse when it's a small business with local owners.

While lots of people are disappointed with the news if you look at The Durty Dawg Facebook Page there is lots of positive comments being left by customers that really enjoyed their time visiting when the doors were open.
