Police Searching for Missing Inmate After Walking Away from Job Site
The Idaho Department of Correction is looking for an East Boise Community Re-entry Center resident who has walked away from her job at a construction site near the Micron Technology campus. The re-entry program allows inmates who are close to being released the opportunity to work, reconnect with family, and get ready for life after prison.
Michelle Dawn Guzman was sentenced to four to ten years for burglary 4 years ago.
She was working at a construction site along South Federal Way on Saturday, and failed to meet a driver who was to return her to the re-entry center.
The Idaho Statesman reports Guzman is 42 years old, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium brown complexion. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs about 190 pounds. She was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jeans and boots.
The IDOC asks anyone with information about Guzman’s whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency.
