Plane Issues and Weather Woes Made the Weekend Memorable

This past Memorial Day weekend was definitely one I will remember for a while. I've never been on a plane with any sort of issue before, and once we arrived there was snow in the forecast. It was a crazy weekend but it was still a lot of fun spending time with family.

Savannah and I left for Reno on Friday night. Leaving out of Boise the flight is only one hour. We we're about 15-20 minutes into the flight and the captain then came over the intercom to tell us we needed to return to Boise because of an issue with the landing gear. My thoughts were to keep going we we're going to have to land either way, but they know much better than I do.

We did make it into Reno and enjoyed a night spending a few dollars at the casino. Saturday night we met up with my in-laws at a cabin in Lake Tahoe. We had a nice dinner and woke up Sunday morning to snow on the ground and more falling. It wasn't exactly what we expected but we still got to drive around and see how beautiful Lake Tahoe truly is.
