If you were heartbroken with Piggy Pigs Pottery closed last July, turn that frown upside down! Ceramics painting has returned to Meridian.

For a lot of ladies, Piggy Pigs was one of the most fun places to go unwind and relax with your girlfriends.  If you were lucky, you were able to talk hubby into a fun date night there.  Unfortunately, the pottery painting studio closed due to unforeseen circumstances last summer.  Boise based Ceramica stepped up to let customers complete their unfinished Piggy Pig's projects for a small studio fee, but people living in Meridian really missed having a studio in their neighborhood.

Well now they don't have to travel far! A new ceramics painting studio called A Way with Clay is celebrating it's Grand Opening at 12750 W. Fairview Ave.  The new studio allows customers to get creative by painting one of their pre-made ceramic pieces or one that they create themselves! The best part? They don't have any confusing studio fees! You simply pay the price of the piece you want to paint and use of the supplies like paint, brushes and stamps is included. Pieces start as low as $8.

They also offer a variety of classes like step-by-step canvas painting, Girl's Night Out, story time pottery for kids and pottery wheel classes.  To check out their schedule or book your own private party, click HERE!

A Way with Clay may be a new business in the Treasure Valley but they're getting involved with causes that really impact the community in a big way! On Saturday, June 8 they'll be hosting a big paint party at The Village at Meridian where people pay a small fee to paint a bowl that will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank's Summer "Empty Bowls" event. To be part of that, you can pre-purchase a ticket HERE!
