I love a new place to eat in town and this restaurant is set to open their doors by the end of the month! Here's what you can find at California Mexican Food.

It's a 24/7 restaurant that according to the Idaho Statesman, will set up shop inside what used to be Zimms Burger Stache off of Fairview Avenue in Boise. Zimms told the Idaho Statesman that part of the reason they closed was because of a lack of night traffic, but that doesn't appear to be intimidating to California Mexican Food.

Inside you'll find Tex-Mex food mostly priced between $5-$7. California Mexican Food will not only have a drive-thru, but indoor seating for a couple dozen people.

I don't know about you, but when I get hungry late at night, Mexican food is one of my staple go to's. Their California Burrito stuffed with steak, potatoes, cheese, and salsa is sure to curb any midnight craving.

Welcome to the Treasure Valley, California Mexican Food! January 24th is the projected opening date, and we can't wait to check it out!
