The entire Treasure Valley is invited to join in on the celebration as Meridian Canine Rescue will soon be celebrating their 2nd anniversary. The momentous occasion is set for Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fun will take place at their building located at 501 East Scenery Lane in Meridian, Idaho.

There is going to be fun for all members of the family all day long! From 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. all dogs are welcome to stop by for a $20 microchip or a $10 nail trim. Although after 11 a.m. MCR is asking all visitors to leave your furry family members at home so the spotlight can be on the rescue pups that are looking to find their furever homes.

As the day continues from Noon until 4 p.m. the celebration is on with a silent auction, numerous vendors, games, doggie bake sale and lots more. At 4 p.m. there will be a special demo from a former MCR dog who is now a K9 officer. Then at 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. there will be the volunteers vs. adopters softball game to wrap up the day of fun.

Adoptions will all take place during normal business hours of 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a discounted adoption fee on the anniversary party day. All meet-and-greets will also have to take place during this time. If you want to call and schedule a meet-and-greet it is highly encouraged at 208-794-0944.

Dutch Bros will be on hand to take care of all your beverage needs throughout the day. Plus The Rusty Dog will be there serving up some delicious corn dogs. Hope you have time to stop by and maybe even add a family member.
