A third grader named Julia at Garfield Elementary School came up with a way to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. She has family in Houston that are okay, but she knows the devastation that other families are experiencing. She asked her parents to setup up a Salvation Army Red Donation Bucket at her school to raise money.

Julia hopes that everyone at the school will bring at least one dollar which would raise $450 and her hope is to double it to raise a total of $900.

Way to go Julia! Spread that message and help other kids to think the same way!
