Utah Furries Raise $$$ For Pet Rescue. Could Idaho Do The Same?
We should all do our part to help out little animals in need, right? We should, but do we actually do it?
Well, over in Utah, they absolutely do it. And by "they," we mean your friendly neighborhood Furries.
What's going on with Furries in Utah, and how does it help pets?
Pretty simple, really! Recently, an annual furry convention, Anthro Weekend Utah, took place as it always does. A place for Furries and Furry allies to gather, connect, and even combine their efforts for a good cause.
At this year's Furry gathering, attendees raised over $36,000 supporting Nuzzles & Co, a Utah-based pet adoption and rescue organization. That's a lot of cash to save some cute puppies and kittens.
Question is, would Idaho be willing to do the same?
As we've learned in the recent past, Idaho isn't exactly the most welcoming state when it comes to Furries. Why? You'll have to take it upon yourself to read the comments.
