This Is The Lake Idaho Locals Don’t Want You To Know About
The best part about living in Idaho is exploring everything to do, especially in the great outdoors. It's easy to get lost searching for something to do - especially when talking to a trusted local. Once in a while, you'll hear about a hidden gem that ends with "but don't tell anyone about it."
That's certainly the case with a particular hidden treasure in Idaho.
"Seriously - don't tell anyone about this."
In case it's not obvious, some locals - not all - prefer to keep their hidden gems, well... hidden. They don't want outsiders learning about these Gem State treasures for a variety of reasons.
The most obvious reason is to keep the place from getting too crowded. Another might be that they don't want outsiders to fall in love with the area and move here.
We can't say we blame locals for feeling that way either. It's like the cool band or artist you discovered before everyone else. You love their music, the connection to this artist feels intimate and then poof.
They become mainstream and suddenly, they're no longer "yours." You now have to "share" something that was once personal and intimate with the rest of the world.
That being said, this place is too stunning to not share with you, and hopefully, you don't share this with anyone on the fence about moving here. We wouldn't necessarily be upset, but a lot of locals might.
And why wouldn't they be?
