I saw an Idaho meme that's been cracking me up with its accuracy for over a month now. It simply states that Idaho in fact has 11 seasons instead of 4:
Winter
fool's spring
second winter
spring of deception
third winter
mud season
actual spring
summer
false fall
second summer (1 week)
actual fall

According to the comment section on the meme post, we are experiencing third winter. This wild amount of snow is definitely proving that. But it's during the winter that I think eating ice cream is the most fun! Something about it feels rebellious. And I also have this weird thing where I feel sorry for ice cream for being mostly neglected during cold months as though the frozen treat is sentient and can feel human rejection. I highly recommend getting down on some ice cream, especially while enjoying the snow.

Bite Me inside The Village at Meridian is my absolute favorite place for ice cream treats right now. Essentially you craft an ice cream sundae on a stick. You choose your flavor of ice cream, type of chocolate to dip it in, and toppings to roll it in. They even have sorbet and rice treat bar options as well as frozen bananas. Perfect for vegans or anyone with a lactose intolerance.

Don't let the cold weather deter you from enjoying a cold treat. Be an equal opportunity dessert consumer and snag yourself a Yabba Dabba Do (vanilla ice cream bar dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in Fruity Pebbles, drizzled with marshmallow sauce) at Bite Me. You won't regret it!
