Idaho Power Repairs Damage And Restores Power Following Mile Marker 14 Fire
July 19th, the Boise area was dealing with the second large wildfire in as many months as the Mile Marker 14 burned around 4500 acres. Today, Idaho Power made repairs.
The damage to Idaho Power assets was significant, so plans were put in place to prepare new poles and equipment and a planned outage scheduled to provide crews safety while doing repair work.
The outage and repairs happened this morning, and thanks to the work of five crews, power was restored at 10:56am.
