Even if the weather isn't fully cooperating we are not far from summertime weather. With the increase in temperature we all need to pay even more attention when behind the wheel.

The Idaho Department of Transportation has sent a reminder about the 100 deadliest days just around the corner. Just last year alone there were 102 deaths on Idaho roads between Memorial Day and Labor Day. This is a reminder for all drivers to drive safely.

It's no surprise that over Memorial Day weekend law enforcement will be making sure no one is driving impaired but there will also be a special emphasis on wearing your seat belt. In fact not just for this weekend but for the next few weeks.

Most people know it's common sense to put on your seat belt as soon as you enter a vehicle but if you forget it could cost you. Don't forget to wear your seat belt, beyond costing you money it could save your life.
