Do Cannibalistic Dwarves Really Live in the Mountains of Idaho?
So, I know the question being asked sounds ridiculous but hear me out... nothing is impossible. Besides, Halloween is right around the corner which means it's the perfect time to dive into one of the creepiest (and most bizarre) Idaho legends of all time. No, seriously... this is terrifying.
According to Legends of America, the Shoshone Indians of Wyoming came across a "race of little people" known as the Nimerigar. Legend says that this race of people hunted with "tiny bows" and "poisoned arrows", even going so far as to kill their own when they deemed them useless to their tribe. This race of people was described as being six and a half inches tall when seated and fourteen inches tall when standing. They're supposedly located in the Owyhee Mountains of Idaho and feast on not just human flesh, but the flesh of their own.
Honestly, I low-key wish this would turn into a film in the found-footage genre just in time for Halloween. While I'm not exactly sure what the plot would be, it shouldn't be too hard to come up with one. I mean, imagine a group on the hunt for Bigfoot, and the whole time you're thinking: "Oh great, another horror film on Sasquatch..."
Then out of nowhere, we just see an arrow fly into a tree before we see the small elf-like being that's responsible run off into the mountains. I'm sure the right filmmakers can make it a lot more terrifying than I described it but then again... we also have the movie 'Paranormal Prison', so there's that.
Let's take a look at the legend of the cannibalistic elves in the mountains of Idaho and let me know what you think...
