IHOP is doing it again. Free pancakes!  They'll give us a free buttermilk short stack on National Pancake Day, which is coming up next week. And they just ask that we do one thing in return.

National Pancake Day is coming up next Tuesday, February 27th, and IHOP will give a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to anyone who wants one between 7am and 7pm that day.  (It's buttermilk only, dine-in only.)

They're planning to spend the day raising money for charity too, so they just ask that we leave a donation in return for the free pancakes.  IHOP has been doing this since 2006, and this year they're aiming for a goal of $5 million for local children’s hospitals and health organizations.  So the donations left at IHOP restaurants around the Treasure Valley on Tuesday will help our local kids.  So....eat more, help more kids.  Okay, okay.  Twist our arms.

Spoon University says the fundraising supports three main partners: Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Since National Pancake Day at IHOP started in  2006, IHOP customers have chipped in $30 million for community partners.
