How Many Days a Week Should You Bathe Your Kids?
You typically hear with newborns to keep the baths to a minimum to prevent drying out their skin since it's more fragile and prone to infection, but no one really talks about how often you should bathe your toddler or school aged children.
According to Yahoo Parenting, infants and children up to age 11 could get away with a bath twice a week. When I was talking to a friend of mine about what I read, she was disgusted. She said she bathes her kids every single day. (They are 1 and 3 years old).
Now, don't worry, if you bathe your kids more often it's not dangerous or going to hurt them in any way.
The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) says that kids ages 6-11 that are dirty, sweaty, or have a skin condition, you would definitely want to bathe them more than once or twice a week.
